Five Things You Need to Know This Week

Patch gives you a rundown of what's going on around town this week.

 

1. Public Meeting in Cranberry for Recreation and Open Space Planning

Cranberry will hold a public meeting from 7 p.m to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the township municipal center. Residents will be asked to provide input on the future of Cranberry's parks and recreation facilities and programming.

2. Cranberry Board of Supervisors Meeting

Find out in person what’s going on in township government. Cranberry’s board of supervisors will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday inside council chambers at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center.

3. Coffee with the Township Manager

Seneca Valley Superintendent Dr. Tracy Vitale will join Jerry Andree, Cranberry's manager, for a coffee date with residents at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Graham Central Coffeehouse and Café located off of Rochester Road in Cranberry.

4. Cranberry Library Kicks Off Winter Reading Program

If you’re searching for a good book to curl up with, the Cranberry Public Library will kick off its adult winter reading program at 7 p.m. Monday at the library. Call 724-776-9100 to register.

5. Cheer on the Raiders

The Seneca Valley girls basketball team will take on the New Castle Red Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Seneca Valley High School gym. The Raiders boys varsity basketball team will face off against Oliver High School at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Seneca Valley High school.
