Did Valentine's Day sneak up on you? Whether you're shopping for a new romance, an old flame or for your child, we've got you covered.
Show your loved one that you care with one of these last minute gift ideas.
Say it With Sweets
Head to Stor Haus Bakery in Harmony to get some sweets for your sweetie or order some of the award-winning cupcakes from Tin Man Sweets in Evans City. While you’re in Evans City, don’t forget to grab your girl or guy (or little one) some chocolates at Wendereusz’s Candy & More on East Main Street.
If you’re traveling across the Allegheny County line, make a quick stop at Bartram House Bakery in Pine to pick up some special treats for the whole family.
Have a Heart for Animals
The Valentine’s Day event includes live music, yummy refreshments from local restaurants, door prizes, a raffle, a silent auction and a scavenger hunt. The Humane Society also is bringing some of the animals looking for new homes. Animal-themed art will be on display from regional artists.
Attendees are asked to bring a toy, food, blankets, kitty litter or other items for the animals.
Go for a Couple’s Skate
North Park Ice Skating Rink is hosting a "Sweetheart Couples Skate" from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday. Buy one admission and get one free. Couples of all ages are invited and each will receive a carnation while supplies last.
Buy Her Some Bling
Guys, you’re practically guaranteed extra kisses if you show up with some bling for your lady. Fortunately, there are many high-quality jewelry stores to choose from in the Cranberry area, including Mathew Jewelers (which has locations in Cranberry and Zelienople), Moses Jewelers in Seven Fields and Casa D’Oro inside the Sheraton on Route 19 in Mars.
For the Single Ladies and Gents…
Red is Dead Anti-Valentine's Day Party
