Cranberry Trick or Treat Rescheduled to Saturday

Cranberry has postponed its trick or treat night to 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.

After evaluating the weather Monday morning, Zelienople also has postponed the borough's trick or treating schedule to 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Nov. 3.
Trick or treat for Seven Fields also has been delayed to 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, according to borough manager Tom Smith. Adams Township, Jackson Township, Mars and Evans City also have rescheduled trick or treat for 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.
According to the National Weather Service, a flood watch is in effect from Monday morning through Tuesday evening for Pennsylvania, West Virginia, east central Ohio and western Maryland.
As the “Frankstorm” moves closer, a high winds warning also is in effect from noon Monday through noon Tuesday. Winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are possible in the area, according to weather service.
The winds are expected to increase Monday afternoon, with the strongest gusts happening late Monday through the early hours of Tuesday morning. The winds should begin to diminish during the daytime Tuesday, the service said.
The strong, gusty winds could bring down trees and power lines. Motorists are warned to use extreme caution, especially when traveling over bridges and overpasses.
