Clad in red, white and blue, young bikers took over Grand Avenue in Mars Wednesday as part of the borough’s Independence Day parade and celebration.

At a joint celebration for Zelienople and Harmony boroughs and Lancaster and Jackson townships, food, games and festivities followed the annual parade down Zelienople’s Main Street. This year's grand marshals were The Resurrection Band and Tom Schneider.

At dusk, fireworks were held at the Zelienople-Harmony Community Park
